Description

Known as the “milk of the bees,” royal jelly serves as food for bee larvae during the first phase of their development.

Only the queen bee consumes it throughout her life — hence the name royal jelly.

This substance contains a unique fatty acid, 10-HDA (10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid).

Thanks to this exclusive nutrient, the queen has a lifespan of 5 to 6 years, compared to just 60 days for worker bees.

It also contains royalisin, an amino acid responsible for the queen’s robustness, and royalactin, a protein believed to contribute to her rapid growth.
