Description

Dolomite is a mineral rock of sedimentary origin. Formed in marine environments, it precipitates in warm, shallow waters. Its name comes from the geologist who discovered it in 1791, M. Dolomieu, when he first observed this rock in the Dolomiti mountain range in Italy.

It represents an interesting nutritional source of calcium and magnesium.

Calcium is necessary for maintaining normal bone structure.
